Connecting MyParcel
Connect MyParcel to Bugalou to automatically send track & trace notifications via WhatsApp, email or SMS whenever a shipment is updated.
Overview
The MyParcel integration lets you receive real-time shipment status updates in Bugalou and automatically send track & trace notifications to customers via WhatsApp, email or SMS. Go to Channels → MyParcel to manage the integration.
What You'll Need
- An active MyParcel account
- A MyParcel API key (found in your MyParcel account settings)
- A Bugalou account on a paid plan
Step 1: Get Your API Key from MyParcel
Log in to your MyParcel account and go to Settings → API. Copy your API key from there. The key is typically a long string of letters and numbers.
Step 2: Connect MyParcel in Bugalou
In your Bugalou dashboard, go to Channels → MyParcel. Fill in the connection form:
- API Key — paste your MyParcel API key here
- Shop Name (optional) — give the connection a recognizable name, e.g. the name of your webshop
Click "Connect" to save the connection.
Step 3: Webhook Is Registered Automatically
Once your connection is successful, Bugalou automatically registers a webhook with MyParcel. This allows Bugalou to receive real-time status updates for all shipments sent through your MyParcel account. No additional setup is required.
Step 4: Set Up Automations
Go to Automations to create workflows triggered by MyParcel status updates. Create a new automation and select MyParcel as the trigger type. You can automatically send messages when statuses change, such as:
- Shipment registered — label created
- Shipment in transit — package is on its way to the customer
- Shipment delivered — package delivered
- Delivery failed — delivery attempt unsuccessful
Available Variables in Messages
Use the following variables in your automation messages to include shipment-specific information:

Multiple Connections
You can connect multiple MyParcel accounts to Bugalou, for example if you manage multiple webshops or brands. Each connection has its own API key and shop name.
Removing a Connection
Go to Channels → MyParcel, find the connection, and click "Delete". This automatically removes the webhook registration from MyParcel as well.

Where do I find my MyParcel API key?
Log in to backoffice.myparcel.nl, go to Settings → API, and copy your API key from there.
Does this work with WooCommerce?
Yes. If you use both WooCommerce and MyParcel, you can combine the two integrations. WooCommerce sends order data to Bugalou and MyParcel sends shipment statuses. This gives you a complete overview from order placement to delivery.
How do I know if the webhook is working?
On the MyParcel integration page in Bugalou, you'll see a green checkmark next to "Webhook active" if the registration was successful. You'll also see the timestamp of the last received webhook notification.
