1. Overview
At Bugalou (part of Baboluv B.V.), we strive for complete customer satisfaction. This refund policy describes the conditions under which you may be eligible for a refund of your subscription.
2. Free Trial Period
All new accounts are eligible for a free 14-day trial period. During this period, you can fully test the platform without any obligation. No charges are made during the trial period, so no refund applies.
3. Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscriptions, the following applies:
- You can cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings
- Upon cancellation, you retain access to the platform until the end of the current billing period
- No refund is provided for the remaining days of a current billing period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
4. Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions, the following applies:
- Cancellation within 14 days of purchase: full refund if the platform has not been substantially used
- Cancellation after 14 days: no refund, but you retain access until the end of the annual period
- No further charges will be made after the annual period expires
5. Refund Exceptions
In the following cases, you may be eligible for a (partial) refund:
- Double billing: In case of an unintentional double charge, the full duplicate amount will be refunded
- Technical issues: In case of demonstrable prolonged service interruptions (more than 72 hours) that have not been resolved, you may request a pro-rata refund
- Incorrect upgrade: If you accidentally upgraded to a higher plan, contact us within 48 hours for a correction and refund of the difference
6. No Refund
No refund will be provided in the following situations:
- Partially used subscription periods for monthly subscriptions
- Exceeding quota limits (conversations, AI messages, etc.)
- Cancellation due to violation of our Terms of Service
- Costs for extra seats or add-ons that have already been activated
- WhatsApp conversation costs charged by Meta
7. Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Send an email to support@mail.bugalou.com with your account details and the reason for your request
- We will process your request within 5 business days
- Approved refunds will be returned via the original payment method (Stripe)
- It may take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear on your account
8. Downgrading Your Subscription
As an alternative to cancellation, you can downgrade your subscription to a lower plan. The change takes effect at the beginning of your next billing period. No refund is provided for the difference in the current period.
9. Changes to This Policy
Bugalou reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are published on this page. We recommend reviewing this policy regularly.
