Setting Up Your Organization & Workspace
Configure your organization name, logo, workspace settings, labels, and closing notes to match your business workflow.
Organization vs. Workspace
Bugalou has two levels of settings:
- Organization — your company identity (name, logo, billing, security)
- Workspace — your day-to-day configuration (channels, labels, teams, integrations)
Organization Settings
Go to Settings → Organization settings or /dashboard/account/organization. For billing details, see Account and Billing Settings.
Company Name & Logo
- Organization Name — your company name, displayed in the dashboard header
- Logo — upload your company logo (shown in the top-right corner)
Support Access
Toggle Grant Support Access to allow the Bugalou support team to view your workspace for troubleshooting. You can revoke access at any time.
Security
Configure security settings like two-factor authentication (2FA) for your organization from your personal profile settings.
Workspace Settings
Go to Settings → Workspace settings or /dashboard/account/workspace.
Labels
Labels are color-coded tags you can add to conversations for categorization. Set up labels that match your workflow:
- Click "Labels" in workspace settings
- Click "Add Label"
- Enter a name (e.g., "Urgent", "Sales", "Refund", "Follow-up")
- Choose a color
- Click "Save"
Labels appear in the inbox and can be used to filter conversations.
Closing Notes
Closing notes are predefined reasons for closing a conversation. When an agent resolves a conversation, they select a closing note:
- Click "Closing Notes" in workspace settings
- Add reasons like "Resolved", "Spam", "Duplicate", "No response", "Referred"
These appear in analytics to help you understand why conversations are being closed.
User Settings
Configure default settings for your team: notification preferences, display settings, and auto-assignment rules.
Integrations
Quick access to Zapier, Webhooks (coming soon), and REST API (coming soon) from the workspace settings. See all available integrations.
Personal Profile
Go to Settings → Personal settings or /dashboard/account/personal/profile to update:
- Name — your display name
- Email — your login email (with verification status)
- Profile photo
- Two-Factor Authentication — enable 2FA for extra security
