Navigating the Dashboard
Learn your way around the Bugalou dashboard — the sidebar, overview page, settings, and where to find every key feature.
The Dashboard Overview
After logging in, you land on the Dashboard Overview page. This is your home base showing a summary of your account. For a deeper dive, see Getting Started with the Dashboard.
- Welcome message with your organization name and logo
- Setup cards — quick links to connect WhatsApp and WooCommerce
- Plan limits — current usage for team members, contacts, automations, and AI messages
- Statistics — total messages, active automations, response rate, and total contacts
- Recent Conversations — the latest customer conversations at a glance
The Sidebar
The left sidebar is your main navigation. It contains:

| Inbox | All customer conversations across channels — the heart of Bugalou |
| Automations | Create and manage automated workflows, email campaigns, and broadcasts |
| Contacts | Your customer database with profiles, tags, and conversation history |
| Analytics | Reports on messages, response times, team performance, and trends |
| Finance | Billing portal, invoices, and payment management (via Stripe) |
| Channels | Connect and manage WhatsApp, email, Instagram, Messenger, website chat, and e-commerce |
| Helpcenter | Create and publish help articles for your customers |
| AI Agent | Configure your AI chatbot, knowledge base, and FAQ answers |
| Support | Contact Bugalou support and manage your tickets |
| Settings | Opens a popup with organization, workspace, personal, and billing settings |
Settings Menu
Click the ⚙️ Settings item at the bottom of the sidebar to open a popup with:
- Organization settings — company name, logo, security, support access
- Workspace settings — channels, labels, team, integrations, closing notes
- Personal settings — profile, email, two-factor authentication
- Quick access links — Channels, Integrations, AI Agent, User settings, Billing
- Plan overview — current plan name and message usage bar
Your Organization Badge
In the top-right corner of the dashboard, you'll see your organization name and logo. This confirms which workspace you're currently working in.
Tip: Keyboard Navigation
Use the sidebar to quickly jump between sections. The active page is highlighted with a colored background. Your most-used feature will likely be the Inbox — click it to see and respond to all conversations.
