Chat Composer

When messaging via WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, or Website Chat, you'll use the chat composer at the bottom of the message area. Explore all available channels.

Text Input

• Type your message in the input field ("Type a message...")
• Press Enter to send
• Click the paper plane icon to send (disabled when empty)

Emoji Picker

Click the 😊 smiley icon to open the emoji picker. Choose from 40 popular emojis displayed in an 8-column grid. Click an emoji to insert it at the cursor position.

Sharing Images

1. Click the 📷 camera icon
2. Select a JPEG or PNG image from your computer
3. A preview appears with a remove button (✕) if you change your mind
4. Click send to share the image

Sharing Files & Documents

1. Click the 📎 paperclip icon
2. Select a file — supported: .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .pdf, .txt, audio, and video files
3. The file is sent directly to the customer via the active channel

Voice Recording

1. Click the 🎙 microphone icon
2. Allow microphone access if prompted
3. A recording indicator appears with a red dot animation and timer
4. Click the stop button when done
5. The voice message is automatically sent

Voice recordings are sent as OGG audio (with WebM fallback). Media support varies by channel — see choosing the right channel for details.

AI Text Enhancement (Pro)

Pro plan users see a ✨ sparkle icon next to the send button. Click it to instantly improve your typed message to a professional tone using AI. Learn more about AI text enhancement →

Email Composer

When replying to or composing an email, the composer expands with additional fields and a formatting toolbar.

Email Reply Fields

• To — auto-filled with the original sender (locked)
• Cc — click "Cc" to show, then enter additional recipients
• Bcc — click "Bcc" to show, enter hidden recipients
• Subject — auto-filled with "Re: {original subject}", editable

Formatting Toolbar

The email composer includes a formatting toolbar with six options:

Button	Action
B	Bold — wraps selected text in bold tags
I	Italic — wraps selected text in italic tags
U	Underline — wraps selected text in underline tags
●	Bullet list — creates an unordered list
1.	Numbered list — creates an ordered list
📎	Attach file — add file attachments

AI Email Features (Pro)

Pro plan users see two additional buttons in the email composer:

• "✨ AI Antwoord" — generates 3 AI reply suggestions based on the conversation
• "🪄 Verbeter" — enhances your drafted text to a professional tone

Composer Restrictions

The composer shows an overlay in certain situations:

• Closed ticket — "This ticket is closed" overlay with a "Reopen Ticket" button
• Unassigned conversation — "Assign this conversation to reply" overlay with an "Assign to me" button
• Active agent conflict — input disabled with tooltip "Another agent is handling this conversation"
