What Is Auto-translate?
Auto-translate lets you translate any incoming or outgoing message in your inbox with one click. Select a target language and the AI instantly generates a translation below the original message. This is a Pro plan feature powered by GPT-4o-mini.

How to Translate a Message
- Open a conversation in the inbox
- Hover over or look at any message (chat bubbles or email messages)
- Click the 🌐 translate icon on the message
- Select the target language from the dropdown
- The translation appears below the original message in an italic, smaller font
Where It Works
Auto-translate is available on:
- Chat messages — WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and website chat bubbles (both inbound and outbound messages)
- Email messages — email conversation cards in the inbox
Tips
- Translate any direction — translate a customer's Dutch message to English, or your English reply to check how it reads in German
- One click — the translation appears instantly, no page reload required
- Preserves formatting — the original message stays unchanged, the translation appears below it
- Maximum length — messages up to 5,000 characters can be translated

Each translation counts as 1 AI message. On the Pro plan, AI messages are unlimited. The feature uses GPT-4o-mini with a low temperature (0.1) for accurate, natural translations.
