Managing Your Team & Roles
Invite team members, assign roles (Owner, Admin, Member, Agent), create teams, and manage permissions in your Bugalou workspace.
Team Management
Manage your team from Settings (gear icon) → Workspace settings → Team settings.
Inviting Team Members
Click "Add Team Member" to expand the invite form:
- Enter the Email Address of the person you want to invite
- Select a Role from the dropdown:
- Owner — full access to everything, including billing and organization deletion
- Admin — full access except billing and critical settings
- Team Member — access to the inbox, contacts, and assigned features
- Agent — limited access, primarily inbox and assigned conversations
- Click "Invite" to send the invitation
The invited user will receive an email and appear in the team list with an "Invited" status badge until they accept.
Managing Members
The team members list shows each member with their name, email, role, and status. You can:
- Change roles — use the role dropdown on each member row
- Remove members — click the trash icon (red) to remove a team member
The header shows your seat usage: "X / Y seats used". If you need more seats, you can purchase additional ones from the Billing & usage page.
Creating Teams
Go to Settings (gear icon) → Workspace settings → Team settings to create team inboxes. Teams let you organize conversations by department (e.g. Sales, Support, Billing).
- Click "Create team" and fill in the team name, description, and color
- Add members to the team
- Team inboxes appear in the Inbox filter sidebar under "Team Inboxes"
Seat Limits by Plan
- Starter — limited seats included
- Pro — more seats included, additional seats at €12/month each
- Enterprise — custom seat limits
