Getting Started with AI Agents
Create and configure an AI agent that automatically handles customer conversations on WhatsApp, Instagram, and more.
What is an AI Agent?
An AI agent in Bugalou is a virtual assistant that automatically responds to incoming customer messages on your connected channels. It uses your product feed, knowledge base, and custom instructions to give accurate, on-brand answers.
Creating an Agent
- Go to AI Agents in the main navigation.
- Click + AI Agent aanmaken.
- Give the agent a name and click Create.
Configuring Your Agent
After creating an agent, use the left sidebar to configure:
- Settings — name, language, tone of voice
- Channels — which WhatsApp/Instagram channels the agent is active on
- Handoff — when to transfer to a human team member
- Product feed — connect your product catalog
- Knowledge feed — add URLs the agent can learn from
- Blog feed — add blog content as a knowledge source
- Playground — test the agent before going live
- Instructions — custom instructions and rules for the agent
