Overview

The Mews integration connects your Property Management System (PMS) to Bugalou for automated guest communication throughout the entire stay — from booking confirmation to a review request after check-out.

What you'll need

• An active Mews account with access to the Mews Commander
• Your Mews API credentials (Client Token and Access Token, found in the Mews Commander under Integrations)

Connecting

1. Navigate to Channels → Mews
2. Enter your Mews API credentials
3. Click "Connect" — Bugalou verifies the connection to your Mews account

What gets synced

• New and updated bookings are automatically detected
• Guest details (name, contact information, arrival and departure date) are available directly in the conversation
• Check-in and check-out moments trigger the matching automations

Automations

• Booking confirmation via WhatsApp — right after booking, with all relevant details
• Online check-in link — automatically sent 24 hours before arrival
• Welcome message — on arrival, including Wi-Fi details or room information
• Review request — after the stay, timed for the best chance of feedback

Disconnecting

To disconnect Mews, go to the Mews integration page in Bugalou and click "Disconnect". Existing conversations and automations remain intact, but no new booking data will be synced.
