Overview

The Google Calendar integration connects your calendar to Bugalou for automated appointment confirmations and reminders. Ideal for salons, practices, or any business that manages appointments through Google Calendar.

Connecting

1. Navigate to Channels → Google Calendar
2. Click "Connect with Google"
3. Log in with your Google account and authorize Bugalou
4. Select the calendar you want to connect — you can connect multiple calendars individually

What gets synced

• New calendar events are detected and registered as appointments
• Changes and cancellations are automatically picked up, so reminders aren't sent for cancelled appointments

Automations

• Appointment confirmation — right after a new booking appears on the calendar
• 24-hour reminder — noticeably reduces no-shows
• 1-hour reminder — as an extra short-notice reminder
• Follow-up after the appointment — for example a review request or thank-you message

Disconnecting

To disconnect a calendar, go to the Google Calendar integration page and click "Disconnect" next to that calendar. Other connected calendars are unaffected.
