Overview

The Calendly integration connects your booking system to Bugalou. When an appointment is booked, Bugalou can automatically send a confirmation message or reminder — no manual work needed.

Important

You'll need a Calendly account (free or premium).

Connecting

1. Navigate to Channels → Calendly
2. Click "Connect with Calendly"
3. Log in with your Calendly account and authorize Bugalou
4. Select the event types you want to connect (e.g. "Consultation" or "Demo")

What gets synced

Whenever someone books one of the connected event types, Bugalou automatically creates a conversation with the booking details (name, contact info, time booked), so your team has context the moment the customer reaches out.

Automation possibilities

• Appointment confirmation — instant WhatsApp message right after booking
• Reminder — message 24 hours before the appointment, reduces no-shows
• Follow-up — message sent after the appointment, e.g. with extra info or a review request

Disconnecting

To disconnect Calendly, go to the integration page in Bugalou and click "Disconnect". Already-created conversations remain intact, but new bookings will no longer be synced.
